Mary Clare Mendick has enjoyed a lifetime of ministry in liturgical music. For many years she was a parish choir director, teacher of liturgical music and director of children’s liturgies at Holy Ghost and later served as music teacher, liturgist and choir director at St. Gerald Parish in Omaha for 29 years. Her compositions include music for children, music for the dedication of the new church at St. Gerald and for many special liturgies. Her main focus has been her family, which included her deceased husband, Deacon Dan Mendick and 13 wonderful children and their families. Some of her children are presently involved in parish music at their parishes in Omaha, NE.
